#101 Elaine Martini on finding your intuition in a head-centric world
“I find that everything goes down to connecting back to your inner wisdom, because that’s when you get the balance between things. This is with everything - you’re always going to hear different opinions and it doesn’t mean that one is right or one is wrong. It’s really about feeling which one is true for you right now. What direction is the best direction for you in this moment? It could be that five minutes from now it’s actually the other direction. That’s why I find you always have to be connected to it because then you’re going to navigate life in the way that is more true for you. ”
In a world that moulds us into “socially acceptable” identities, labels and personas, what does it mean to truly show up in community as your authentic self? How can tuning into your intuition help us re-learn the art of being strong in your truth, regardless of social conditioning?
In this episode, we welcome to the show Elaine Martini, a writer, speaker, and storyteller whose work explores what it means to live a life that is truly our own.
Elaine is the bestselling author of Truly Connected: Create a Life and Work Guided by Your Inner Wisdom, Authenticity and Soul and founder of the Connected Life Path, a community exploring authenticity, intuition, inherited patterns and the deeper layers that shape how we live.
Born in Brazil, her journey has taken her through Rome, Barcelona, London and now the Algarve, with each place shaping the way she understands identity, belonging and the stories we carry. After a career that moved through architecture, entrepreneurship and writing, her own path of questioning, unlearning and trusting her inner knowing became the foundation of the work she shares today.
